Marysville Auto Plant

Marysville Auto Plant

Aren't all car assembly plants alike? No! At least, that's Honda's answer. Designed to evolve and change, a 1982 visitor would get lost in today's Marysville Auto Plant because of all the building and equipment changes. The company has the best team of associates in the industry. The team starts with each associate's involvement to use their experience and knowledge to improve their processes and plants. By mixing the perspectives of associates from different backgrounds and challenging them to bring forth new ideas, Honda continues to improve. No one is afraid to speak up and offer their opinions to their leaders and each other – because that's the Honda Way.

This associate engagement is why Honda's Marysville Auto Plant has the flexibility to produce multiple models and reflects Honda's commitment to keeping plants efficient. Originally building only Accords, the plant today is the sole global source of the Honda Accord Coupe, the Acura TL and the Acura RDX, while also building more than 90% of the Honda Accord Sedans sold in America. The plant is highly integrated with metal stamping, welding, painting, plastic injection molding and two final assembly lines under one roof.
