Honda Transmission Manufacturing, Inc. has manufactured automatic transmissions at Russells Point (Logan County) since 1997 (from 1989 to 1996 they had been manufactured at Honda of America's Anna Engine Plant). Honda Transmission had been Bellemar Parts Industries, Inc., Honda's very first parts supplier, until being wholly acquired by Honda in 1996 and reconfigured as a transmission producer for Honda autos manufactured throughout North America.
