Honda Trading America Corp. oversees importing and exporting activities for Honda in the U.S. Honda Trading's primary function is to identify marketable products to sell in Japan. Honda Trading has facilitated the export of American made automobile components (along with hay, soybeans, meat and wine, among other products) to Japan since 1979. In addition, Honda Trading coordinates the supply of critical raw materials needed for manufacturing, including steel, aluminum and plastics. The Marysville, Ohio, office was established in 1987.
